Deborah Wall is a freelance writer and photographer specializing in outdoor subjects and family travel. This book, her second, is a collection of her columns on hiking and the outdoors, which are published in View Community Newspapers, the neighborhood newspapers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Wall is also the author of Great Hikes: A Cerca Country Guide (Stephens Press, 2004) and was a major contributor to two other books in the Cerca Country Guide series, Road Trips and Adventures. She has published magazine articles in Cerca and Nevada Magazine. Formerly she was a television anchor and producer.
A lifelong hiker, she was a ski racer and has taught both skiing and sailing.
